My cousin’s wedding is in April in Columbia, SC and it’s an evening occasion at a fancy house. I have a few dresses I love but they are t-shirt material, so they are probably too causal. The dress code is cocktail attire, spring colors and florals encouraged. I haven’t been to a wedding in years but want to look my best. I’ve looked at my three main places: Torrid, Maurice’s, and Lane Bryant. I haven’t found anything I like. Any ideas of other places I can look? Thank you.
I have a couple of things I’m going to at the end of Sept and am looking for an outfit or two that isn’t 1) matronly or 2) formal wedding guest attire. I’d love something like the dress in the link, but can’t find anything like it for a plus size woman. Where do you guys shop, besides Macy’s/Nordstrom/Torrid/JC Penny? Please no Shein, I refuse to give them my money. Not thrilled with buying clothes from Amazon either.
Help, please! We have been invited to a wedding in Colombia next summer. I am a size 16 in street clothes and in my mid 40's. I will not ever have the need to wear this dress again so I'd prefer to find something on sale for around $100, although I also don't want the $20 dresses made of cheap fabric. No green or white-ish colors. I haven't shopped for formal wear since high school. If you could please point me to a few places to look I would really appreciate it! Thank you!
