I have Microsoft365 subscription and i have the 2016 version. In the insert>links section i only have link and action, zoom is nonexistent... WHY?? Im losing my mind over this for the past hour and a half.

This isn't entirely clear (Microsoft's fault, not yours). There's Office 2016 and then there are build/version numbers of each update to Office.
When you first start desktop (not web) PowerPoint, you'll see either "365" or the non-subscription Office version on the "splash screen" that immediately appears. Which do you see?
Can't you just drag the thumbnail of the first slide in the section onto your current slide?
Hi Mohd Hidayatullah Mohamed Yusof,
So sorry for this inconvenience caused to you.
According to this article: Use zoom for PowerPoint to bring your presentation to life - Office Support (microsoft.com)
It’s first to make sure you have at least PowerPoint for Microsoft 365, version 1607 or newer version of PowerPoint to create and play zoom.
About Office: What version of Office am I using? - Office Support (microsoft.com)
Then go to File>Account>Customize Ribbon to check if you could manually add this feature to your ribbon bar. Like shown below:
For your information: Customize the ribbon in Office (microsoft.com)
If the above suggestion doesn’t work, may I confirm the following information for a better understanding of your situation?
- The build and version information of your PowerPoint? (File>Account.) Could you please share a screenshot on the Product information page and help mask your email address to protect your privacy? Like shown below:
- The build and version information of your Windows? (Click the Start menu > Type “winver” > and hit Enter.)
Best Regards,
May

I am trying to create a timeline presentation where clicking on a slide will zoom in. However after following countless tutorials I can not get the feature to appear. It in in the ribbon manager but I cant actually access it. I am running the Office Professional Plus 2016 Version 1912 (Build 12130.20344 Click-to-Run), any Idea how I fix this?
