Where can I find royalty free vectors that dont require giving credit to creators?
Most of the free sites have a hodge podge. You never know until you download and read the read me.
https://openclipart.org states on their upload page: "By uploading SVG Clipart, you are asserting that you are uploading and sharing clipart already in the public domain, you are the creator, or you are the legal owner of the clipart. By uploading clipart to this site, you are waiving all copyright and related or neighboring rights. Please do not upload any trademarked images such as characters or logos."
So in theory they are all free with no credit needed I believe. But there is little in place to stop someone sneaking something in.

Thread: Can everyone share the best place they've found free, unlicensed, and decent quality vector files?
Does anyone have any really good databases of vector graphics that I could steal? I had a look on the pirate bay and it's pretty desolate.
Eventually, I would love to create a database of my own vectors for open source use.

Reach as far up your ass as you possibly can, grab onto any loose bits, and drag them out. Voila! Free vector art!
Hey guys, I recently started to create posters and art prints with the purpose to sell them online as digital art.
After some time I discovered websites such as this (svgsilh.com) and this (openclipart.org) that have graphic resources available for free download and released under Creative Commons CC0 license.
If I have understood correctly that means that I can use them however I want, even for commercial use. For example if I create a poster and use some of the graphics I mentioned above and sell it for profit, I should be fine. Am I right ? I am just really not sure about the term "commercial use". Does it means that I can have profit from selling a copy or just that I can use it for example in an advertisement ?
The second part of my question is that these sites usually get their resources from the website Pixabay, which is a free stock photo and vectors site. For example svgsilh takes an image from Pixabay, turns it black and that's it. Or if a vector it's already black, basically, they change nothing.
Pixabay's license though says that you can use the resources for free even for commercial use BUT you are not allowed "to sell unaltered copies of an image. e.g. sell an exact copy of a stock photo as a poster, print or on a physical product". Can we somehow define what an unaltered copy is ? If I change just the color or cut something out, does this count ?
And here is an example of what exactly I mean: svgsilh image and pixabay image.
And another one that they change nothing: svgsilh - pixabay
So, I just want to be sure of what I can and what I cannot do with these resources. It's really helpful and saves me a lot of time to use them but I don't want to do anything illegal and get in trouble.
Thanks to anyone who took the time to read my post!
EDIT: Location - Europe. But I don't think this matters in this situation
