I have an Nvidia GTX 1060, I don't think it's possible to overclock- my old GPU let me do that from its dashboard, to an extent, and it got me through a whole lot.
Anyway, at one point I installed some stuff that came with my old Razer mouse- namely, Razer Cortex.
It helps somewhat, I think? I imagine the main thing that does anything is that it closes explorer.exe & 'launches on gamedesktop' whatever that actually means. I'm not a big fan of Razer though personally, especially when it's come to their programs-
Is there a better(preferably free) alternative to this for minimizing programs/boosting performance on a Windows PC?

For those that don't know, this is Razer Game Booster. It basically stops pointless processes when you want to play to optimize performance. Is there anything like this that's already out and free to download?
