I’m currently working in a hospital as a cleaner, I registered my interest in Optima IT, which is a certification body.
I’m not sure what to do, is it really what they’re saying they are? Is it worth paying the 6k? Is it easy to get a job after getting certification? I’m not sure on it, I need some advice on what to do.

Jumping into AWS is a journey. Be prepared to spend some serious investments in time commitment either in training or in using AWS. IT is a lifelong career and it builds on things at the same time things go obsolete. You need to be all in with your life. I'm not saying 100 hr weeks, but 40 working and 20 studying and keeping up with the latest trainings and technologies will put you in a good place. Certifications do not equal jobs. You will be hard pressed to get through interviews on certs alone. Don't think youre gonna spend a couple weeks studying and passing a couple certs and then putting in your resume and expect 6 figures.
