Samsung pay Canada credit card support

Capital One Costco Mastercards in Canada aren't supported in Samsung Pay in Canada. Only cards from the banks listed here are supported: https://pages.samsung.com/ca/samsungpay/English/ You can try contacting Capital One and asking them to support Samsung Pay. Even MBNA, TD Canada Trust and President' s Choice Financial don't support Samsung Pay yet. Canadian bank support for Samsung Pay is quite lacking compared to the US.

Samsung pay don't accept a lot of banks still. A work around for us in the UK is to sign up to Samsung pay + which is basically curve. It's cool though, you link any card you want. Samsung even send you a physical Samsung card More on reddit.com

r/SamsungPay - Located in Canada but don't have a supported bank card
August 27, 2014 -

So I'm located in Canada and I recently I got the Galaxy S9 and want to use the Samsung pay feature but unfortunately I don't have a supported bank card with me so was just wondering if it's even a possibility to still use this feature without having a supportive bank card basically, I heard something about you able to link a PayPal account with it possibly but I'm not sure if that's US only or not?

Or currently is it kind of the situation where if you don't have supported bank card then there's no way to use it? Thanks in advance! :-)
