I have had great experience, I recently bought an S23, and I love the phone, My phone was manufactured March 8 2024, so it's practically brand new. My phone was a carrier unlocked t-mobile phone, I flashed it to a factory unlocked phone. I only buy excellent grade phones, and test them completely. I still have til September to return the phone if I wanted, that's why I had no fear of flashing it. If something went wrong, I would have returned it. More on reddit.com

Yes, I recently just bought the S23 ultra renewed. I've had no issues with it and all the parts are genuine. You have a return window, so if you don't like the phone you can return it.

So...a couple of days ago I bought a renewed phone with "Excellent" condition. It took me a couple of days to actually test the phone but someone else picked it up, confirmed it was legit, turned it on and everything seemed fine.
Until I actually tested the phone and noticed the screen wasn't right, it didn't cover the edges, investigating a bit I found out that it was replaced with an INCELL screen. Right now I'm talking with the seller and got a 20$ offer, which in my opinion is more of an insult.
I can't return the phone as I had to travel abroad due to my job and it may take me at least 3 months to return to USA. Besides, I already setted up my phone and my company is a bit exaggerated about security and having to set up new keys with my phone will be a hasle.
So...I'm demanding a partial refund, what are your experiences buying renewed with Amazon? What should be the minimun I'm asking for?

I had great success buying renewed phones off of Amazon. I bought an A50 4 years ago renewed and it was like brand new. Worked flawlessly. I just bought an S22U renewed and that also came like brand new. And so far it works excellent. Happy so far.
