I use wired microphones normally, and use many of the Shure SM58 (an industry standard). When I selected this wireless microhone, I hoped it would sound as good as the wired ones I have. It did! I can really tell on the recordings. But the best thing was what happened "out of the box:." I plugged in the receiver, put a battery in the microphone and it worked instantly - no searching for frequencies, and no fuss with set up.
