Where can u find a vanity for a vessel sink?
Bathroom vanity with vessel sink made from regular cabinet, what would you use to waterproof?
Whats the hype over bowl/vessel sinks - I dont think they are that great?
What about practical reasons. I have an older home with a smaller bathroom. Currently demoing the bathroom. I want to use vessel sinks so I can have a functional drawer under the sink with a cut out for my plumbing.

Planning on installing a vessel sink with vanity in my bathroom. I bought the bowl and faucet from home depot but for reasons unknown to me or the staff at home depot, they sell a sink without a vanity to place it in. Any suggestions on where I can find the vanity for this? Would I have to go to a countertop store and get it custom built? It's like this

Hi all, I'm sure a lot of you know that bathroom vanities can be pretty expensive if you want something that looks nice. I've been super frustrated with my choices, and decided to DIY one with a cabinet and vessel sink. I haven't purchased the cabinet yet, but I'm hoping to snag a nice older wood piece at goodwill or an antique store.
My plan from there is to sand it, fit the sink by drilling the appropriate holes, then paint or stain the piece (probably stain bc I love a nice wood piece), and then waterproof it.
This is where I have questions: I've seen multiple posts about waterproofing a normal piece of wood furniture to withstand water, but am confused on what the best method is. Right now I'm leaning towards a polyurethane coat at least on the top, but I'm not totally sure if this is right. Any help is appreciated!
Those are the types of sinks that sit above the counter and it looks like a round bowl. This is often an upgrade in homes. I find them awkward as your hands can it the edges or sometimes your glass bumps into it. Is it just about the looks? It doesnt look that great to me, but I dont know, perhaps its some new style that is a fad right now.
They are dumb. And it’s totally a fad. I’m sure it’s already on the way out.
