Is the lid for the Mesa and Mesa XL only available through the Mesa accessory pack? That’s the only place I can see one, but $70 for the bundle seems like a lot

I'm new to this, wanted to buy a Mesa XL and I got carried away adding the box of wood, the accessories pouch, the fire starters, and the heat deflector all adding up to $200+ for that free gift, but then I realized the gift wasn't really worth it and I'm wondering if I should remove any of the products mentioned before placing my order. I saw a lot of posts here recommending wood chucks instead of the items off the website and I'm not sure marshmallow sticks are worth $50. I'll maybe use this product once or twice a month.

The Mesa XL is great. But…$7 for a giant bag of pellets at Lowe’s. Fire starters are dirt cheap at Walmart.

Their wood is fine, but you do just as well with pellets sourced locally (fuel or grilling pellets) or even “grilling wood chunks” made for use in smokers. Check your local hardware, home and garden, or agro-supply stores. I can get 40 lbs of fuel pellets at Tractor Supply for $6.
