Have you ever seen a noticeable difference between charging Macbooks with Magsafe 3 vs usb-c?
Sometimes customers insist on buying the Apple brick + the cord, but most customers seem content with our J5 and Targus usb-c AC adapters, and they’re a lot cheaper.
P.S. Most Mac customers also show up without knowing how many watts they need. I just let them know it’s ok to use the highest wattage ones. The computer will only draw what it needs.
Some thunderbolt 3, 4, and usb-c questions
Mac AC adapters
Are USB C to USB A Adapters worth buying?
What USB-C charging brick are you getting/using?
Of all the cables we sell in-store, which ones would work with (for example) the Mac Studio? Not a Mac guy so I get confused when it comes to usb-c specifics and it has to do with video. I understand there are differences in bandwidth, among other things.
Once in a while I have Apple users with Dell monitors walking in and asking for recommendations, and I don’t know what to tell them.
Just wanted to know what you usually sell or recommend.
Thank you.
