Saw this Goldman report comparing today’s market to past bubbles
I will not say anything new if i say its impossible to time the market. It can be bubble but what if we still have 2-3 years before popping? Easily QQQ can double by that time and then during bubble-pop decrease only, lets say, 49% so it will bottom out higher than it is today. Thats the tricky part of timing the markets and guessing the bubbles - they can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent - or other way around, you will earn less by timing the market than by being in the market. Of course, you can be lucky to time the top or the bottom but luck is not a sound investment strategy. In my country, people were betting on real estate downturn from 2008 until 2022. When house prices decreased by 10+ % in 2023, they were still significantly higher than in lets say 2015. But, what is even more funny, these people were still expecting prices to drop further to finally buy in. That of course never happened and today, prices recouped all the 2022-23 losses. I would say that with stock market its very similar due to the one fact alone - we are living in ever increasing fiat money supply - so prices of any assets which are denominated in these money will increase in the longterm. Of course - not every stock can survive - thats hardest part of stockpicking. But im convinced that if anyone buys QQQ or some other aggregate ETF of tech sector in general, they will to very well in future. Just as we were in industrial world for better part of last 150 years, we are in technology world lets say from 2000. So therefore tech will prevail. More on reddit.com

Total revenues increased 46% year-over-year to $131.5 million. • Trading-related revenue increased 63% year-over-year. • Total operating expenses increased 37% year-over-year, primarily due to an increase of $18.5 million in share-based compensation expenses. • Adjusted operating expenses increased 20% year-over-year to $108.2 million. • Loss before income taxes totaled $21.4 million for the quarter, representing a year-over-year increase of $11.1 million. The increase was primarily due to expensing $11.0 million of equity offering costs. • Adjusted operating profit totaled $23.3 million for the quarter, representing a year-over-year improvement of $23.6 million and an increase of 18% year-over-year. • Adjusted operating profit per share was $0.05 for the quarter and $0.18 for the six months ended June 30, 2025, representing an increase of $0.05 and $0.17 from the same prior year comparative periods. • Net loss attributable to the Company increased $16.7 million year-over-year to $28.3 million. • Adjusted net income increased $16.9 million from a net loss of $1.5 million to net income of $15.4 million. Net loss per ordinary share was $1.20 for the quarter as compared to $0.16 for the prior year comparative quarter. Our net loss per ordinary share for the quarter was predominately due to accounting for the fair value of ordinary shares and warrants issued to certain preferred shareholders as a dividend, which lowers net income attributable to ordinary shareholders. The securities issued were in connection with the closing of the business combination with SK Growth Opportunities Corporation. Upon the closing of the business combination transaction, our preferred stock converted into ordinary shares, and we no longer have any preferred stock outstanding. More on reddit.com

Is It a Bubble?
Who can say when an optimistic market has become a bubble? It’s just a matter of judgment. Something that occurred to me this past month is that two of my best “calls” came in 2000, when I cautioned about what was going on in the market for tech and internet stocks, and in 2005-07, when I cited the dearth of risk aversion and the resulting ease of doing crazy deals in the pre-Global Financial Crisis world.
