Not sure if this is related but I'm seeing lots of scams on marketplace for patio furniture. A whole set for like $200, and they offer free delivery but you gotta put a down payment. The seller accounts have no ratings, no history, the photos are the same on different listings. I saw one where the backyard was massive, like an acre, but the posting said downtown Toronto. IMO I’m not a big fan of structube, we have a few pieces and they aren’t very well built (think terrible fit and finish, wobbly tables, etc). For the price I prefer ikea, yes they are similar but I feel structube is a bit higher and the pieces are a bit trendier.

If you like west elm for the mid century look, I recommend buying second hand from places like Reclaim to fame (they have an online store as well), or Murphy’s mid century in inglewood. Good prices, knowledgeable people and they are always getting new pieces in. I hope that helps!

this is where I get to tell my story about how I bought a cheap couch from them, it weirdly just ... broke about six months in with extremely light use, and when I went back to the store to discuss they asked if it was my "primary couch" and said they didn't recommend it as a primary couch. This is the College street store -- I was a little taken aback because a) they didn't mention that when I was buying it and b) who has a primary and secondary couch from structube in this condo-heavy area?
