Having gone through the cheap outdoor furniture circuit, skip the cheap stuff. Just go for the sunbrella fabric high quality furniture. It's not worth it to repurchase outdoor furniture every couple years. We ended up getting a sectional from Terra Outdoor Living. Pricey--yes. But definitely worth it. More on reddit.com

First thing to consider is going to be whether it can be stored inside if you have winter or if it will remain outside all year. Will you have a place to store the cushions if necessary.
