Hi! I recently returned something that I lost the receipt for and was given a merchandise return card. Can I use it at any target or just the target that I returned the item to? I only ask because I'm trying to get Super Smash Bros Ultimate next week and the target that I returned the item to is getting it two days later. Additionally, if the answer is the latter would I be able to buy nintendo e-shop cards with the balance on the card?
Thanks!
I recently returned some items and received store credit for them (white merchandise return cards). It is written on the back of the cards that they can only be used to purchase items IN STORE.
However, the item I want to buy is only available ONLINE. Can I order the item I want online, return it in store (refund to my credit card), then buy it again using my store credit?
My mother in law gave me a couple of these black merchandise return cards because she never goes to target, am i even allowed to use them or should i just give them back to her?
I’m not a Target employee, so I hope it’s okay that I am posting here!
I got a ton of stuff for my baby shower that I didn’t register for and don’t want/need. And, because people are awesome, nobody gave me a gift receipt.
So now that I have returned it all I’ve got $200 in store credit. The problem is, the items that I registered for are not sold in store, and apparently I can’t apply store credit to online purchases.
I talked to an online customer service rep, and they were not helpful. Pretty much told me they could give me a 5% discount if I bought my stuff outright. But that still leaves me with $200 in store credit that is unused.
I’m not the type of person to show up and bitch until I get my way, but this is pretty uncool. Is there any way around this? Are there loopholes or chill managers that will cut an exhausted pregnant lady some slack if I ask nicely? I want to give Target my money. Why won’t they take it?! 😭
Is there an annual limit on no receipted returns? From what I read on Reddit and online, I keep seeing $100 merch credit. Not sure if that is per item, or per year of all items returned by a given customer. After which they cannot return without a receipt
