March 27, 2024[FIX] Thinkpad P16s Gen 1 AMD/T16 AMD/P14s Gen 3 AMD/T14 AMD Not Waking From Sleep Solution
The BT and Wi-Fi driver rollback appears to have fixed the problem for me. After I rolled the drivers back the first time, I was disappointed when it happened again but it turns out only the BT driver stayed on 1.x, while the Wi-Fi driver appeared to have updated itself back to 2.x. I rolled the Wi-Fi driver back again and have not had a stuck-in-standby yet in the last roughly 10 days or so. I have been fighting with this issue since I got the laptop in December of 2022, so I hope this is ultimately the "fix" (I suppose it is technically a workaround, good enough for me). I even went back and forth a few times with premier support and demanded an on-site system board replacement but nothing worked (though I refused to try their suggestion of reimaging my system from scratch). I'm happy to be able to use standby like a normal person again! More on reddit.com

Looking to buy a workstation / CAD laptop. I found one that is the 48GB RAM/Intel i7-1270p/1TB SSD trim. Seems like it has the T550 4GB integrated GPU as well. Anything I should look out for with this laptop, possibly other recommendations? There's not much info online about this model, no detailed video reviews nor articles.
