Irrespective if it had a cinema release, or if it went to streaming, what are your top 10 favorite 2024 release Bollywood films that came out this year and please say why, for each film named.

Here’s a list of my fav movies of 2024, all available on OTT platforms. If you think I’ve missed a gem, it’s likely still on my watchlist - so please share your recommendations!

I’ve primarily explored movies from the Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil industries. While I did check out a few Punjabi, Marathi and Gujarati films, they didn’t quite work for me. I have to admit, though, that I haven’t yet explored the best Bengali films of the year - the content from Bengali movies can be super and that’s definitely on my to-do list!

I have to say, for the second year in a row, the Malayalam film industry takes the crown for delivering some of the best movies of the year.
