My Truist mobile deposits are no longer immediately available for free.
In the past, I didn't know how many immediate deposits I made for free; now, they want to charge me. What has changed? Thank you. I looked around and didn't even see a way to get these for free. Do I have to have a certain amount in my bank account? I'm not sure what changed. Thank you.

Truist sent letters to all their clients explaining this change. You're always welcome to deposit in-branch; immediate availability on mobile deposit is a convenience, not a right. The bank inherently takes on more risk to deliver this type of option since, as you are hopefully aware, sometimes people write bad checks or forge then.

My paychecks are Truist and formerly BB&T checks. The BS maintenance fee was one thing, but this immediate availability charge is over the moon out of bounds. These criminals will see me tomorrow when I pull every FN penny out of there. Also I will spend the rest of my days rewarding them, for this BS, with my unfiltered ratings for all to see.

Mobile deposits on new accounts have been known to be problematic. Call them and ask about it. They may have a 10 day hold on it due to it being so new.

New account deposits in a branch can be held for up to 7 business days. Plus you have to factor in the holiday. You will probably get a notification that there is a hold placed. Never do mobile deposit if you need funds quickly. Go to a branch and they can tell you exactly when the funds will be available.

I have a weekend job and got to work yesterday and had 2 checks waiting on me from the previous weekends I worked. I logged into app and deposited the first check ( smallest amount out of the 2) and chose funds available immediately and made it the deposit and I had the money in my account within the matter of minutes. Went back to deposit the second check and the funds available immediately feature was no longer there for me to select just standard despoit. So I waited until today to see if maybe it was a one check per 24 hrs thing or something and again today same thing only standard despoit only option. My employer also banks with Truist and this is the main reason I opened an account with them so I could get the money asap. Anyone have any thoughts on why this could have happened. Waiting till I'm the moring to be able to talk to someone from Truist because the help chat in help couldn't help at all.

Called and spoke to an truist team member this morning. They were no help. It's sad when you have to explain how a product works to an employee that shoukd know. She just kept saying it was bc I made the despoit on Sunday .
