Just bought the iPhone 17 Pro Max and I’ve had bad experiences with the Apple Store screen protector it cracked really fast. On my 16 Pro I ended up without any protection, and after one fall the screen cracked and I never fixed it so I had to replace the phone.
This time I want the best screen protector for iPhone 17 Pro Max, something strong but easy to install. I’m also thinking about a privacy screen protector for iPhone 17 Pro Max so people stop looking at what I’m doing in public.
Any recommendations for a reliable iPhone 17 Pro Max screen protector (clear, privacy, or tough edge-to-edge)?

I’ve always just gotten Zagg and left it alone but this year I’ve seen some people leaning towards vionentus and flolab.
I had a buddy buy both and said they both came misaligned and the cut outs were sloppy. But wanted to see why everyone on Reddit liked those brands since they always come up in my searches.
I currently have a Torras SP and it’s been alright. I’m glad it came with 2 because the first was misaligned and had a scrape on the glue side of the screen. I have never used a SP with black borders and found that it impeded a good portion of my screen which wasn’t a deal breaker but definitely noticeable. I did my due diligence to look online and see if there was a brand that didn’t have those borders so prevalent. I found some people leaning towards Flolab because of their .7mm borders. And some leaning towards vionentus because of the quality of the screen.
If anyone has experience with these it would be helpful to know why you chose them. Thanks!
Hey everyone, I just pre-ordered the 17 Pro Max and I’m looking for a screen protector that really lasts. I don’t mind spending a bit extra if it keeps my new $1000+ iPhone safe.
I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews about Vionentus, but before I order I’d love to hear more first-hand experiences. How has it held up for you?
Thanks!
I know it is a bit early, but I am finally upgrading from my iPhone 14 Pro Max and planning to pre-order the iPhone 17 Pro Max in the next few days. Last time, I ordered a few screen protectors for my 14 Pro Max and most of them turned out to be low quality. Some cracked easily, others had bad clarity or started peeling at the edges.
This time, I want to get it right and order the best iPhone 17 Pro Max screen protector from the start. I figured it is a good time to do some research before everything sells out after launch.
If you had good experiences with screen protector brands when pre-ordering your previous iPhones, which ones would you trust again for the iPhone 17 Pro Max screen protector? I am looking for something that is durable, scratch-resistant, and fits perfectly. (EASY TO INSTALL ofc)
Let me know what brand you used before that actually delivered good quality. I want to avoid repeating the same mistake and get a solid iPhone 17 Pro screen protector this time. Any tips for the best screen protector for iPhone 17 would be appreciated.
I have an XR right now and I'm using tethy's, unfortunately it turns out they dont have newer ones for 15 and up so I need suggestions. I'm guessing the 15 screen protector can be used on the 16, so please recommend some. I just need protection, no weird privacy or what ever. Thanks
I’ve been trying to read into what protector to terms. I had the magic John one from tiktok on my last one and was great, saw with this phone it apparently blocks the speaker to talk on the phone with kinda bad. Seen some others saying they’re too thick and hurt sensitivity? Any suggestions from those who have gotten some? Have tried flolab and Otterbox on others both seemed decent
