How does Walgreens photo ordering work ?
Recently got photos printed at Walgreens and I am fairly disappointed with the results. Is it my fault or Walgreens ?

More on reddit.comI’ve never ordered photos before. Put some into Walgreens online print shop, clicked place order, and it just immediately went to the “thank you for your order page” without taking any payment info. What’s up with this ?
Also, is the preview at the top how the photos actually come out ?
I recently had some photos printed at Walgreens and they came out at a clearly lower quality than the camera I took them with. I uploaded them as JPEG images as I was told there wasn’t much of a difference between JPEG, TIFF, RAW, etc. when dealing with printers like Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, etc. I got them as 4x6 prints for $0.40 per.
Is it just to be expected that printing at these types of places is going to result in bad pictures ? Or did I mess up in terms of uploading them ?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, such as reputable printers or what I can do in the future to ensure high quality photos.
