April 17, 2022 -
I am visiting SF in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately all walking tours interfere with other things in my schedule, so I will have to do one myself. Does anyone have any good suggestions as to what are some good places to walk in the city?

Did this the other day with a friend who was new to the city. Start in Chinatown: Visit tin how temple, one of the oldest taoist institutions in the city. Go tea tasting at Vital Tea Leaf. Eat some dim sum at Good Mong Kok and/or try the sesame chicken at House of Nanking. Then, you'll head up columbus towards North Beach. Peek into Vesuvio Cafe and City Lights Bookstore, both sf institutions with a lot of history. Next, grab yourself an espresso to go (or an espresso martini if you're feeling bold) at Original Joe's and head across the street to Washington Square to people watch. Cap it all off with a slice of za at Tony's (or Golden Boy's if the line's too long)
