Wallet app?

Ever since Apple Wallet got released, I only keep my license and two credit cards on me. Everything besides that is in AW, including membership cards, loyalty cards, insurance cards, etc.

Also, I can confirm you get all your regular CC points while using your cards on the wallet app.

Daily and often. Every one of my credit and bank cards is on it. Almost everyone of my membership and rewards cards is on it. Any movie, plane, or other event tickets are usually on it. And some of my insurance cards are also on it.

No. The payment will go through without internet connection.

You don't specifically need an internet connection on your end, but there's always a connection on the merchant's end POS. The stored ApplePay info just needs to be verified through this connection to the bank etc, much like when you swipe or use your plastic card. If there's no connection on that side, then nothing will work. So in a way you do need internet, but it's not under your concern.
