What are the benefits of ceramic non-stick cookware sets?
Ceramic non-stick cookware offers several advantages that appeal to many home cooks:
- Non-toxic surface: Ceramic coatings are generally free from harmful chemicals often found in traditional non-stick pans.
- Easy cleanup: Food tends to slide off easily, making washing up quicker and simpler.
- Even heat distribution: Ceramic cookware often heats evenly, helping to cook food consistently.
- Oven safe options: Many ceramic sets are safe for oven use, adding versatility.
- Attractive design: Ceramic cookware often comes in a variety of colors and styles to match your kitchen decor.
These benefits make ceramic cookware a popular choice for those seeking a balance of performance and safety.
How do I choose the right cookware set size for my kitchen?
Choosing the right cookware set size depends on your cooking habits and kitchen space. Consider these points:
- Household size: Smaller sets (around 10 pieces) suit singles or couples, while larger sets (16+ pieces) are great for families or those who cook often.
- Kitchen space: Make sure you have enough storage for the set you pick, especially for larger collections.
- Cooking style: Think about the types of dishes you prepare. Sets with a variety of pots and pans offer more versatility.
- Budget: Larger sets may cost more but can provide better value if you use all pieces.
Assessing these factors helps you find a set that fits your needs and space comfortably.
Are detachable handles on cookware sets practical for small kitchens?
Detachable handles can be very practical for small kitchens due to their space-saving benefits:
- Compact storage: Removing handles allows pots and pans to stack neatly, freeing up cabinet space.
- Versatility: Cookware with detachable handles often works well in ovens and can double as serving dishes.
- Ease of cleaning: Handles can be detached to clean both the cookware and the handles thoroughly.
- Travel-friendly: These sets are great for RVs or small apartments where space is limited.
While detachable handles add convenience, make sure they are sturdy and easy to attach/detach for everyday use.
I'm not sure how anything that needs to be the size and weight of a 20 piece cookware set could be manufactured and shipped from china anywhere near this price. What is the trick here?

Edit: Hi all, just wanted to make a note I was well aware it was a third party seller, it was probably a mistake or a scam, and if it was this cheap it would be of awful or impossibly low quality. I never said otherwise, I wasn't bamboozled, I bought this knowing the situation.
I reached out to Walmart and was informed in email I would get a refund if the item did not arrive as expected. I have gotten refunds from Amazon after third party seller issues, as recently as this last x-mas when a gift didn't arrive. Seems others have had issues getting refunds, in my experience being polite and having a track record of using the sellers platform for a few years makes it easy, never really had an issue. Google (I think it was the Google store, was years ago) refunded me for an Oculus rift stolen of my porch years ago sent a new one I picked up at a safe location.
Imagine the egg ON your face when I am using my $9.99 20 piece cookware set!!!!!
Have a good day!
looking to get into cooking a bit more and just got my own place and would love to get a cheap set to start, looking to stay around $50-$100 at the most in order to save up for the future.
