They’ve automated everything to hell and back, but if you’re able to go in and ask for the department manager and/or coach of the position you’re applying for, you may be able to introduce yourself and chat with them about being hired on.

And no store has bothered to contact me. My availability is open, I have applied to LITERALLY every available option that I’m qualified for within 10 miles but I get radio silence. Am I doing something wrong? How do I get Walmart to give me an interview?
EDIT: Thank you to everyone who has commented on this post and any more that come my way. Honestly all the information I was given was really useful and I’ll start by calling a few local Walmarts and if that doesn’t lead to success, I’ll go in person. If I end up with a job at Walmart I’ll remember to update this post just in case anyone is curious. Thank you all!

Walmart is sadly, one of those employers that people who are 'just filling out applications' like to spam. Don't wait for them to reach out to you. Making contact, in their eyes, shows that you're not just going through the motions. This actually applies to the vast majority of entry level jobs these days. If you're looking for a day or evening shift position, come in before 2 pm and ask to speak with the People Lead about your application. If you're interested in overnight, come in around 9 pm and ask for the Overnight Coach. Be sure to mention that it's about an application.
