Walmart+ is having a great sale. A year of walmart+ free delivery etc. for roughly $50. It comes with paramount+ essentials (with the option to upgrade).
Has anyone acquired their paramount through walmart+?
I currently have paramount+ through Amazon Prime, which is okay but annoying.
My question has anyone done this? And how does it work? Do you log in directly on the Paramount+ app? If you already have an account, do you link them? Does it all work easily integrated into the AppleTV+ app? I tend to run everything I can on my appleTV THROUGH AppleTV+.

You log in directly with the Paramount+ app, and you link your account with your Walmart+ account. After you link it up, it works exactly as a normal Paramount+ account does. If you decide to upgrade to the premium/showtime version, that's billed to you through Walmart. In the Apple TV app, it behaves just a normal standalone Paramount+ subscription does. Your shows will show in the "Up Next" section in Apple TV (assuming you allowed this in the settings), and when you click on one to play, it will launch the Paramount+ app to play it - it will _not_ play within the Apple TV app (as it would if you purchased the Paramount channel from within the Apple TV app).

The Walmart + benefit is a sweet deal. Especially if you get it free through Amex. We took the upgrade to no-ads and Showtime. That gives you your local CBS station and possibly a better picture for sports than the feed on cable. PP+ is the best way to catch CBS shows on demand. I think CBS in general has an older audience than NBC or ABC.

This is very old news. Walmart Plus has been offering Paramount Plus since Aug. 15, 2022. Late last year they started letting you upgrade your Paramount Plus plan to Paramount Plus with Showtime. Also just like those people that sign up for Amazon prime and only want prime video it's cheaper to get just prime video. If you don't need the benefits of Walmart Plus and only want Paramount Plus then it's cheaper to get Paramount Plus with Showtime by itself. If you use Walmart Plus then this is good to know.
