Thanks Walmart for the restock
Is it worth getting W+ and GS+ for an actuall shot at getting a PS5?
When Walmart+ did their drop a few days before Thanksgiving it was absolutely painless for my dad and brother to both get Series X. As opposed to how much of a pain it was to get my PS5 last February from Walmart.com before they were giving Walmart+ members priority. Not that it looks to matter right now since PS5 isn't showing in their Walmart+ early access list anymore.
As for Gamestop, the Power Up Pro for $15 a year isn't a bad deal at all since you get a $10 coupon a day or two after signing up and get an in store $5 coupon every first of the month, and you get 10% more store credit when you do trade-ins. I always use my $5 coupon to buy a $10 PSN card for $5, though they're talking about getting rid of the ability to do that next month. However, those Power Up Pro PS5 deals are for bundles. So you'll be paying about $700 to get a PS5, usually a game or two, maybe PS Plus for a year, maybe a controller, and almost always a $50 Gamestop giftcard. Better than buying from a scalper since you get a warranty plus whatever extras were bundled in I suppose.
