The Amazon River is in South America, not Africa, first of all. Second of all, rivers generally flow into an ocean or a sea. Look at a map. Tributaries are smaller rivers that collect into the larger one. At the mouth of the river, which is actually the end, there is generally a delta -- small land masses that look like islands, where the land has been eroded by the river. The delta at the mouth of the Amazon is in Macapa. The Mississippi River has a delta too, right were Louisiana and Mississippi meet. More on reddit.com

November 22, 2021 - I mean technically the flow goes all the way across the ocean and the Congo river and the Amazon are one in the same ... It'll go from freshwater it'll have a transition zone that's technically brine and then it'll go straight salt water. That transition zone in my opinion that's where the river ends in the ocean starts.
