With such a short torso, high rise jeans look tacky on me. But I struggling to find mid-rise jeans that aren’t skinny jeans😩

I love the fit of the Abercrombie ankle straight jeans, but hate how high waisted they are.

Any leads on my unicorn pair?? Ideally:

  • 25” inseam, but could do up to a 26.5” if everything else about them was perfect!

  • Mid-Rise

  • I prefer at least a little stretch

  • Somewhere with a storefront or an online shop with easy/flexible return policy

  • $50-$75 is most ideal, but would go $100ish for an amazing pair!

  • I am open to other styles of jeans besides straight leg. I don't love overly baggy jeans though and definitely don't want skinny jeans!

For reference, my Abercrombie size is 29, extra short in curve love. I am 5’0” and 132lbs, carrying most weight in my belly

Update: Sorry to leave so many of you hanging for so long lol, but I wish it didn’t take me nearly a year to find an answer worth sharing. These are my 3 favorites right now!

Old Navy Mid rise OG Straight Ankle These are the lighter, ripped pair. More of a straight/slim fit, which you can definitely see through the hips. Wearing a 6 petite in these as well. Abercrombie Ultra High Waisted Ankle Straight (Curve Love) These are the lighter non ripped pair. Also a bit tighter through the hips. Wearing a 29/8 in the curve love style in a short length (The extra short was a bit too short and more of an ankle length on me). So soft, and you cannot beat Abercrombie jeans if willing to pay that for them. If they weren’t as high rise as they are, I would buy a couple more. Garment measures a 24.5” inseam and 12” front rise.
