I just finished season 1 and currently on season 2 but I can’t lie the first season is so good it can just stand on its own.
It doesn’t even feel like it needs another season it was a good dark ending for Joe I’m liking the Love stuff rn but if I decided to stop watching the show all together I’m pretty satisfied with how it ended.

I like how the show emphasises his pattern of obsessing over girls. He pretty much says “I’ve never known what love is until I met you” every season to every girl. Looking at the big picture, we see his true character.

I recommend you to keep watching the show. You have seen the season 1 plot twist how Beck is murdered by Joe and Dr Nicky was framed for Beck's death. If you keep watching, you will see a bigger plot twist at the end of season 2. It may feel hesitant to keep watching but I promise it's really good. Also please don't scroll through this sub you will get spoiled!

Season 1 of You is honestly a masterpiece, and I cant stop rewatching it. There’s something so dark about how Joe Goldberg’s obsession with Beck drives the whole season. He’s the "ultimate stalker" creepy and calculating and dangerously charming. Every move he makes is so methodical, like he’s always one step ahead, yet his flaws make him even more terrifying. In season 1 he's not trying to not be the killing stalker bastard cause thats what he thinks will protect his love. In later season he tried his best not to be one(which he ends up being since thats the plot of the show)

Hey everyone, I just wrapped up Season 1 of You and dove right into Season 2. While I’m definitely intrigued by the shift in setting and new characters, I’m starting to feel a bit worried that the story might fall into the same pattern again.
Love seems like she could end up being just another victim in Joe/Will’s cycle, and I’m not sure how I feel about that yet.
For those who’ve watched further — without major spoilers, does the show manage to keep things fresh? Or does it become a repeat of Season 1 with a new face?
I also don’t want to be heartbroken again… Beck’s death was very, very tragic… couldn’t survive another death like that
