I have YouTube TV on autopay. My debit card info was recently stolen and used so I had to get another one. I changed my card number on my billing info last week but when the autopay attempt didn't go through, I tried it multiple times and it kept saying my account was closed, even though it's my new card number and I've used it before and have tested it since just to make sure, and it still works.
I had to use a credit card which I didn't want to do. I removed both the original debit card and new card numbers and re-added the new one for next time. But I don't understand why it would say my account is closed when it isn't. My bank is Chime and every time I used that card trying to pay for YoutubeTV, I got an automated text from them saying FRAUD ALERT and asked me to confirm it was me. Never got that before when I paid my subscription before. Is it because my new and old card numbers are linked to the same checking account? That's the only thing I can think of. I've used this card before and after and all other purchases have gone through.
It's paid for this month, and I only have it for football season and because it's a much cheaper option than Hulu.
Forgot to pay got a new card and whatnot when does it switch off so I can put in my new payment info
Discover Card is offering 5% cash back on streaming services (including YouTubeTV) payments this quarter, so naturally I'm updating my payment methods to benefit from this. I had no problem updating any of my other services (Netflix, Peacock, etc.), but for some reason YouTubeTV, even though it shows that I updated my payment method to Discover, still shows the payment method as my previous credit card. Is there some kind of waiting period for it to update, or did I do something wrong?
After making 6 payments from my PayPal account with my prepaid debit card, outta nowhere I can't pay my YouTube TV bill.
