This would be a fascinating episode, with a lot of interesting angles that Todd could cover. They had a fairly lengthy history that flew over most casual listeners' heads. The band was known for provocative antics, they performed material in a variety of styles, and actively resented being typecast as a swing band. And their lead singer had the same name as the lead singer of Journey...the jokes just write themselves. 1997-99 was such a weird and wonderful time in music, and I miss it dearly. It was a time when you could hear "Zoot Suit Riot," "One Week," and "The Mummers' Dance" back to back, on the rock station no less...and you never knew what kind of record would become a hit next.
