Asus Rog Hyperion & Corsair iCUE

I have a similar set up. I have 4 x 140mm QX fans (1 exhaust and a stack of 3 as intakes) and then a 360mm icue link AIO. The fans will all route directly into the link system. The first time I wired them I was able to get all of them on one input line, the second time I had to split them into my exhaust and AIO on one line and then my stack of intakes on another. The only things I have wired into the ASUS hub are my PSU, case, and the lighting panel it comes with that can be replaced for another 360 rad. That all wires into the mobo directly. Btw have fun with cable management that shit was a fucking nightmare on this case. I was tempted many times to just remove the back panel completely. But after multiple attempts and an iron will to continue out of sheer spite I managed to get everything to fit with it closed, just barely. More on reddit.com

Should I or should I not use the extra 3x120mm fan slots in my asus rog hyperion gr701 case?

Can you? Yes. Do you need to? No. Should you? *meh* There are other cases with both a side and front fan mount. Not a lot, but they do exist. You can add more fans, and it'll possibly drop the GPU temps a degree or two, but it might do absolutely nothing since those fans are going to just be trying to pull in air through solid glass. And it'll come at the cost of having 3 more fans and the noise they add. Whether or not you "should" add more fans is really an aesthetic choice. Do you want to look at more fans? Then add them.
