Try what David suggested, but you should also simply try using a different electrical outlet. Or you could try using a new power adapter since there is no light on the power adapter you were already using.

r/Dell on Reddit: Inspiron 15 3000 screen will not turn on
June 8, 2024 -
Hi,
My Laptop’s screen won’t turn on after pressing the power button and it is also charged. When I try and turn it on the caps lock light stays on and the charging light blinks white a few times and then orange twice and then repeats the pattern if that is relevant.
So just any advice on how to fix it or anything would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like a faulty screen …. Hold down D and push the power button keep holding down till diag starts. If you see colors flashing screen is good. If you don’t try plugging it into an external monitor to verify it’s not a motherboard issue. If you don’t see anything on the external monitor, it’s a bad motherboard and hopefully still covered by warranty.
