You will need to manually search for them, you can use either a date or KB number. There are no January updates yet, so you can search for "2024-12" to see the December updates, and then get the cumulative update that matches your version and architecture. You can find the KB numbers here, each page has a link to search the update catalog too. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/windows-11-version-24h2-update-history-0929c747-1815-4543-8461-0160d16f15e5 Answer from Froggypwns on reddit.com

r/windows on Reddit: Where do I find manual updates for windows 11?
January 6, 2025 -

Hi everyone, I'm looking for manual windows 11 updates as I've recently moved to a capped connection. wsusoffline only goes up to win 10 1903. https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Faq.aspx seems I have to search for updates instead of seeing a list. Any ideas? TIA

Is there a way to update Windows 11 pro manually?
Honestly, reformat and install the official version, these hacked up copies are more trouble than they are worth, and some even have malware embedded in them. If you want to try force installing Windows 11 23H2 on it, go ahead and run the tools here and tell it to upgrade your PC: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11 That may work, but depending on what hacks were done it might not work either. I really feel your best bet is to just start over with an unmodified copy. More on reddit.com

How can I make windows never install an update without my explicit permission?
Windows 10 and 11 handle updates in the exact same way and have the same options. There is a group policy that does exactly what you want. If you are on Pro or higher, run gpedit.msc, then go to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> All Settings. Scroll down to Configure Automatic Updates then open that. Set it to enabled (NOT DISABLED), then in the dropdown below pick option 2, notify for download and auto install. Now, when new updates are pending, Windows will give you the icon in the system tray but they won't run until you go in and start the process, so you can do it at a convenient time More on reddit.com

r/WindowsHelp on Reddit: Is there a way to update Windows 11 pro manually?
September 20, 2024 -

Hi, as the title says, i´m on a sketchy windows 11 pro copy that a friend installed on my pc that was supposedly optimized for gaming, and one of the features it came with was that it had windows update completely deactivated.

This has not bothered me in the slightest up until this week when i started trying to code on Assembly for a uni class, and because of the obvious lack of updates (i couln´t update for a good 2 years by now) i have a lot of problems utilizing most of the software that is required.

My question is: Is there some way that i can manually update w11? Or do i just reformat to another version?
