I may be a bit dumb now, but from the mekanism wiki I'm not sure how the universal cables work. I'm also confused about how fast the different logistical transporters are and the same with the mechanical pipes.
Hello, I Build my base with second tier of mekansim cables. But now I want to upgrade them, because I have to enough resources. But is there a way to replace them in a better way than just one by one block.
Or should I switch completely to other cables.
Thanks.
I want to hide the cables of mechanism but I can't find a mod that has something to hide, do any of you know? I could use the framed but it gets a volume out.
I dont get it what things like „capacity 3.6MRF/t“ Mean. Why would you measure a capacity in time? I thought that it means, I have a maximum throughput of 3.6 MRF/t, but for some reason my supercritical Phase shifter has an Input of 13MRF/t, how is that possible?
So universal cables are additive, meaning every cable added to a cable network increments to the buffer and RF/FE/etc. transfer speed. Basically multiple cables together form a big ass “multiblock” cable. And then energy is transferred from and to all blocks connected to it.
But how does the game/the mod find the number of cables that are connected and how does it know the locations of the blocks that are connected? Isn’t that algorithm going to get much slower as more cables are added? Is there a solution to that?
