r/landscaping on Reddit: Could I just till the 9 inches I need for a 12' x 12' patio/fire pit base?
October 6, 2023 -
I'm looking to put in a 12' x 12' place for people to chill around my fire pit. Couldn't I just till up the 9 inches I need for a base instead of hand digging?
If not, has anyone every used a gas powered shovel?

And then I gave that to the supplier and they told me how many tons to get. It’s going to be different for every fire pit, but that’s how we figured it out.
