It's definitely one of the better Netflix films and the acting is absolutely fantastic throughout! I do need to mention the ending, which I thought was shockingly bad and completely undid all of the ambiguity and mystery surrounding a certain "character" in the film - it's cheesy beyond belief. This may have bee a Top 3 horror film of 2017 for me if not for that damn ending!

I just watched it and was really happy with it. It starts off as what I feel many would consider a generic Ouija board movie, but it grows into so much more. The horror was executed beautifully and the main actress is so talented. Never heard anyone talk about it. I believe it takes place in Spain based on their accents (I don’t remember if the location is mentioned). The movie is subbed.

Veronica is excellent. There is a film from the same director on Netflix called Sister Death that you may like. It's a prequel in the sense that the main character has a loose connection/cameo in Veronica. You don't need to have seen Veronica or vice versa, but the connection between the two films at the end was a neat surprise.

It isn't very original in terms of scares, but I loved it due to the filmmaking - love the direction, cinematography, family dynamics, etc.

I'm working on expanding my horror pallet, taking it one streaming service at a time. What are your favorite horror shows / movies on Netflix (attaching country if you can as well as that can change availability). I'm keeping this intentionally open because I want to be exposed to a lot of different kinds of horror. I'm asking because I just finished Archive 81 and thought it was pretty awesome!
