AirPods Pro 2nd Gen - Case battery life
Case for the 2nd gen Airpods Pro with cutouts for the bottom holes and no caraniber connector on the side.
Has anyone found the perfect AirPods Pro 2 Case?
Will a case cover be enough to protect my Pro 2’s during commute?
The AirPods case is one of the toughest cases on the TWS market. Apple uses a plastic that scratches supper easily like the old iPods but the plastic it self is super thick and durable and can easily withstand drops and the pressure of a backpack. As for the hinge it’s made out of a huge chunk of metal (Looking at tear downs the hinge is comically large on the inside) but for your situation I would def get a case and I can vouch for Spigen I haven’t personally bought their AirPods case but I have bought two cases for a iPhone 13 Pro Max and a 15 and both of them are excellent quality and have protected from drops pretty dam well and MagSafe charging didn’t noticeably slow down so at least for smartphone cases spigen is pretty good on my books. Keep in mind that a silicone case is only good enough for scratches and light impacts but it wont really protect too much against drops or pressure (also you will lose MagSafe and Apple Watch charging if you care about that) but their armored one should do the trick and it also has magnets for MagSafe charging so it seems like a better option for your scenario.
