I'm looking at buying a Canucks home jersey as a birthday present for my Australian friend but I'm not a big hockey fan and am surprised that there are more options than just a "Canucks home jersey". My background is soccer where all you get is the actual jersey that is identical to what the players wear so I'm finding it a little confusing. I'm hoping some of you more hard-core Canucks fans can help me. I'm looking at two options at the moment: the "Authentic pro blank home jersey" (presumably this is what the players wear?) and the "Canucks fanatics branded blue Breakaway". My inclination is to go for the first option but apart from the second one having Vancouver across the front what exactly are the differences? Do you all as fans have a version that you prefer and if so why?
