X3D is a feature of some AMD CPUs where they stack a chip with 64MB of extra level 3 cache physically on top of or below the main CPU. This helps dramatically with game performance because it lets the game keep the most important information in very fast memory right next to the CPU. There are X3D chips in multiple generations of AMD CPUs. You could keep the rest of your system the same and upgrade to a 5700X3D CPU. It's the slowest X3D CPU on the market, but it will be the cheapest for you because you wouldn't have to upgrade any of the rest of your components. If you want to go even faster you could buy the 7800X3D or 9800X3D. Those are Zen 4 and Zen 5 based CPUs respectively. The 9800X3D is currently the fastest gaming CPU on the planet. They would both require a new motherboard and RAM to use with your current system. More on reddit.com

Nice list. I personally own many of these chips. The current best bang for the buck is the Ryzen 5 5600G or the 5700G if you need the 8 cores. I use the 5600G for my game servers. The Ryzen 3 5300G is probably the pinnacle of quad core processors. Hell, I replaced my raspberry pi for my server for my 3D printers with a Athlon 300U mini PC. It's a 2C/4T Zen architecture with Vega 3 iGPU. Personal workstation uses a 5950X and so does my wife's workstation. More on reddit.com
