How to publish an episode video on apple podcast?
Whether you publish an MP3, M4A, or MP4, they are all linked exactly the same way. That being said, many podcast apps don't actually support video podcasts and your podcast will not show up in their directories. To be honest, it would probably just be better if you just made a YouTube channel, YouTube is much more geared to video and is much easier to monetize. More on reddit.com

May 22, 2025 - There are many third-party hosting platforms (like Podbean or Libsyn) that will manage your podcast audio. Once you’ve picked one, upload your content to the hosting site and add in any show or episode descriptions. Check your audio format. For RSS feeds, Apple accepts MP3 or AAC formats, and they specifically recommend AAC for better audio quality and more efficient streaming.

As of right now.....Spotify and Youtube are the only two platforms that support video. I use SfP as my host...the video version of the podcast publishes to Spotify with no issue....however...everywhere else...including YouTube receives the audio version only via the RSS feed. I have to publish the video version manually each week to my youtube channel. Hopefully they change that at some point, As a side note....my views on Youtube are rising much faster than downloads on any of the podcast platforms,
