I emailed Article asking what I could do to prolong the life of my couch, as I was concerned that the cushion foam wouldn't last through the year. For a couch at this cost, you would expect a couch to last longer than a few months. The response I got was that it was normal for the cushion to sink, and that should be slouchy as if I had it for years.

September 6, 2023 - Honestly, we’ve been incredibly impressed with Article’s furniture. The beds are better quality than West Elm, sofas aren’t as good as Crate and Barrel but are pretty good, great for the price, other pieces like credenzas are extraordinary. And customer service is great!!

Hi all, my wife and I are looking into purchasing a new couch. I have heard good things about article online, but never first hand experience’s (reviews aside).
Would anyone in the BIFL community be able to recommend for or against Article?

Anything from Article is not worth the money. I had a huge 8 inch long thick crack form in my dining room table from them in 1.5 years and they replied basically saying tough luck "small cracks and fissures are common in natural wood products". Not worth the money or the frustration of dealing with their customer service.

I have an article sven leather couch that is a little over a year old. It is still very comfortable/ looks great! The only maintenance I do is, Is rotate the back cushions and applied some leather conditioner/ protectant stuff for aniline leather.

Hi! I am closing on a house next week and planning on furnishing up the whole house from scratch 😅
I am trying to find a brand that offers reliable furnitures with no luck
Until now, I looked into following brands and had to cross off the list due to so many bad reviews
West Elm
Crate and Barrel
Scandinavian Designs
Rove Concepts
Arhaus
And today, I came to know the brand named Article - and it seems like people had good experiences with them. Before I go ahead and pay thousands to them, I wanted to check one last time to see how your experience was with them (if you happen to own a furniture from them)
For your reference, I am planning on buying a bed frame, night stands, dining table (w/ chairs), console table, sofa bed, coffee table, media unit, and bar stools
Also, if there is any other brand that you recommend, please let us know! 😀

I know you crossed Arhaus off your list, but I’ll put in my two cents for them. We ordered a bunch of furniture from there (our sofa was practically custom) and it took about 10 months for delivery. But the quality cannot be matched. I’m so pleased with what we got. While the wait time sucked, their customer service and quality is so good. One of our items was slightly damaged (and I mean, a barely visible scratch) and they replaced it with no questions asked. You can purchase their furniture online but if you are near a store, I highly recommend talking to a designer/sales person in person. They will take care of any issues you may have.

I purchased a set of six dining chairs from them. Very good quality, accurate communications on shipping, they are beautiful (the Zola volcanic gray dining chairs).
