My best friend got married in December 2016 and purchased her bridal gown from Azazie, with us purchasing bridesmaids gowns from there as well. Surprisingly, my MOH dress required ZERO alterations, it fit me perfectly upon arrival. Her gown came in exactly as pictured design/color/quality wise, and she opted to order with custom sizing (she submitted measurements for her bust, waist, etc) as opposed to standard sizing (6, 8, 10…). The dress arrived very close to the right fit, but needed some alterations to make it perfect (I remember she got the hem raised and the chest/shoulders needed to be taken in). She looked stunning after the adjustments and had an overall great experience with the entire process! The option to order the dress(es) you like and have them shipped for you to see them in person before purchasing was also a big hit! Mind you, this was in 2016 so I couldn’t speak to the experience now six years later, but I’d hope it would be as positive now as it was then! Answer from angel328 on reddit.com

I ordered a custom dress from Azazie and it was one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had. The dress I received looked nothing like the sample I tried on. The material is cheap and flimsy, the boning in the bodice is warped and bulging, and the entire top fits horribly—even though I provided exact measurements. It’s also absurdly long and totally unwearable.
I reached out to customer service immediately and asked multiple times for the issue to be escalated. It never was. They just kept sending the same generic replies and offered a $100 reimbursement—as if that would somehow fix a dress that’s completely botched.
Azazie sells themselves as a trustworthy, customizable dress company, but it’s all smoke and mirrors. The quality is awful, the customer service is dismissive, and they do not stand behind their products.
Please save yourself the stress. Shop somewhere reputable.

Hey there, not a personal purchaser of azasie but I work in alterations and have worked on many a dress from them. Overall their sizing is weird, when in doubt go for a size bigger. They usually fit pretty close to the picks but recognize they are on the cheaper end and sometimes arrive with small damages. With the money you save on the price of the dress you can easily get simple alterations done without breaking the bank. I've noticed they tend to have better selection in smaller sizes, meaning the plus size fits are not as close to the models as the smaller sizes. All that being said I would highly recommend them over Amazon or David's bridal

I've ordered a couple of bridesmaid dresses from Azazie and felt like the photos were pretty accurate, especially if you look the the review photos instead of just the model pics. The quality was good for the price, and the fabric felt similar to what I tried on in budget bridal shops. I'd definitely recommend getting a sample first if you can since their sizing is a bit weird. For my own dress, I ended up going another route, but i used Rent the Runway for a rehearsal dinner and bridal shower outfit so I didn't have to buy more white dresses I'd never wear again. That worked out really well, If you're on a tight budget, it might be worth mixing and matching like that-Azazie for the main dress and renting for some of the other events.
