Azazie Bridesmaid Dresses
Can anyone explain Azazie to me?
I wanted to share this just to give warning to those considering going through Azazie for dresses. I’m a bridesmaid in an upcoming fall wedding.
Let’s talk about the positives first: a lot of gorgeous dresses, with plus sizes and so many colors, and - in theory at least - the home try on program seemed great. And I’m sure that program worked well for some!
The first headache was that a lot of the sizes for the try on dresses were sold out. It kind of send me into panic mode, so I found some styles that I liked and, since I wasn’t 100% sure of my size, I ordered three dresses in three different sizes.
The order came quickly and one dress ended up fitting nicely and was the color that I needed, so I opted to purchase it.
About day 5 of my 7 day try on period, I returned the two other dresses to my local Staples, which was a member of the Happy Returns. Got my receipt for return and went about my way.
Exactly a week later, I’m on vacation, and I get an URGENT email that my dresses have not yet been returned. It said to either return them ASAP, or if I did return them to let them know the date, location, and the receipt if I had it. This email was frustrating as it threatened to send me to collections if my card wouldn’t go through again.
I emailed back and told them the date I returned the dresses and the location. I said I had the receipt and will send it to them when k return home. They emailed me back and said they will put a 7 day hold on charging my card until I can get the receipt to them.
I returned home a couple of days later and sent them the receipt, thinking it would be the end of it. They emailed me back and said that I need to wait until the dresses are returned. I called them and said that I shouldn’t be charged when I have proof of receipt. The employee said it’s protocol to wait “several weeks” to see if the dresses are returned, but not to worry.
A week after this phone call, my card gets charged nearly $200 because my dresses are not yet returned. I get another frustrating email from the company saying that I can keep the dresses now and this charge cannot be refunded.
I sent them another email saying that I returned them with the receipt, and it took a bit of back and forth until I was finally refunded. They kept insisting on waiting until they got the dresses back.
Now, nearly a month after I returned the dresses, I got an email saying that my dresses were received by the warehouse. 3 weeks worth of headaches and phone calls and e-mails because of their slow delivery. I would not be buying again due to this.
