Im a millennial, and while I’m so glad that the ultra low rise pants from my high school years are a distant memory, I will never get used to the physical sensation of a waistband at my belly button. It’s a sensory thing, for me.

I love that cute tailored sweats are in, but they have such high waists. If I wear them lower, the crotch hangs too low and, more importantly, the literal size of the waist band is made for a smaller radius (natural waist), not the wider part of the body, near the hip bone.

Any advice would be appreciated! I do not want to break out the sewing machine, but I’m getting desperate.
