Hey, I want to launch a little project to put storage around my bed. I've hesitated a lot between Pax, platsa and Method and I think method is the best suited units for my needs I want to hang the box to the wall using Ikea rails. Do you have any advance or warning in doing so ?
Very doable. In addition to the rail, also fix the bridge units to the side units (male/female bolt connectors + screws).
I did same in my kitchen (not for a bed, but for a bench), and 3 years later still nothing is sagging.
I would just make sure that the Method will be secured with the correct anchors to support the weight of the units and the items you're going to store inside. Also, that the space for the bed fits the bed frame, and not the mattress.
I really enjoy that made side tables for the bed i would consider looking at what you could use for lighting on those, possibly a battery operated light?
Moved into a new flat and my room has two singles instead of a double - so I'm shoving them together to make a double (or a super king according to Google).
The bed frame means there's a gap between them, and ideally I'd like to fill it. The gap fillers I seen on Amazon end up being pretty dear like £55, because of the depth, length and width of the gap. Any ideas on how I can do this in a super budget friendly way?
Hello everyone, I have this Malm bed frame (160X 200), purchased circa 2012 and I’m still happy with it. However, I’ll be moving homes soon and the new place has less storage options. I thought about getting the Malm under bed boxes, but just realised they are for the “high” bed frame model. Any idea on what I could use instead? Or how to raise the low frame I have. Thank you :)
