Best 75% mechanical keyboards for gaming and typing 2025 | Eurogamer.net
November 5, 2025 - Its software isn't the best, but that's a small problem in the context of what is a fantastic mainstream gaming keyboard with lots of enthusiast-level features. Of course, the hard thing to stomach with the Azoth is the price. It's an expensive option undoubtedly, but it's worth considering that some fully custom enthusiast-level options can run a lot more, and sometimes come with less features! ... The Cherry Xtrfy K33 is an interesting 75 percent option, being a "mem-chanical" hybrid rather than a full mechanical keyboard.

October 8, 2024 - In my testing, battery life was good, with the keyboard still reporting 70 percent of its charge remaining after a month of daily use with the backlight off. Lofree advertises that the Flow84’s battery life is 40 hours, which I can only assume is with the backlight on, giving you closer to a week of charge.

Best Gaming Keyboards 2026: We've Tested Full-size, TKL, Mini, and more | Tom's Hardware
4 days ago - 65-percent keyboards are usually as ultra-compact as you can get without dropping the arrow keys, but we've seen '65-percent' used to refer to keyboards with both arrow keys and a function row (technically a 70-percent layout), as well as keyboards with arrow keys, a function row, and a column of navigation keys (technically a 75-percent layout). ⌨ 60-percent: The most compact you can get — no number pad, navigation cluster, function row, or arrow keys. 60-percent is sometimes used to describe keyboards with arrow keys (technically a 65-percent layout). Switches: The best gaming keyboards use a number of different mechanical, optical, and magnetic switch types, which determine the feel and sound of each key press.

r/keyboards on Reddit: 70-100$ good gaming keyboards ?
June 2, 2025 -

Hey everyone!

I’m in the market for a 65% or 75% keyboard strictly for gaming. I already have a Logitech MX Keys for work and daily use, so this board would be my secondary keyboard focused on gaming performance.

Because of that, low latency is a must — the Logitech has noticeable input lag and just doesn’t cut it for fast-paced games. I want something snappy and responsive.

My budget is around $80, but I can stretch it to $100 if there’s something really worth it.

That said, it would be a nice bonus if the keyboard is also at least decent for typing — nothing too mushy or fatiguing if I need to use it for casual writing or chat between games.

There are tons of options out there and I’m honestly overwhelmed trying to decide.
If you were in my shoes, what would be your top 3 picks for this kind of use?

Thanks a lot !

Drop any and every 75% keeb you know and why you love it. Whether that may be below $100, around $250, or over $500, I don't mind. I also don't care if it is barebones or comes fully built. I can also mod, so if it needs tweaks, just mention it. Don't think about switches, that's another can of worms to talk about, unless you have one that you really take pride in to share. It would be nice though if it had a knob or whatever extra I could use to personalize my experience with it. It needs to have the function row and can be wired and wireless, that's non-negotiable for me.

For the last 6 months, I have been meaning to upgrade my basic ass Royal Kludge that I have modded as much as I can to get it to be the best that I can have it. And I am actually really happy with it. Though I am still itching to get something better. More premium feeling. Smoother. Generally better quality and maybe even good resale value.

I want to know what's in the market right now and what might come out within the next couple of months.
