Do you have printing projects you can use it for? The cost of OEM ink means, to me, that the printer needs to be busy. Dye printers of that era produced prints that faded relatively quickly compared with later inksets. I had friends who had this printer, it was pretty good for its day, but doesn't come close to the Canon Pro-100 which replaced it. That itself has been replaced as well. More on reddit.com
