I’m currently on the hunt for a gaming laptop that offers exceptional performance without breaking the bank. My budget is set at $1000, and I want to make sure I’m getting the best bang for my buck.

This requirement " Performance: I want a laptop that can handle demanding games without any hiccups. A powerful processor, ample RAM, and a capable graphics card are crucial" is a challenge. A laptop with even mid-range current GPU and CPU will cost more than that. the GPU alone will eat up the $1000.
I laugh at those articles - the Lenovo article says you can get one for under 1K, but they only sell one below 1K and it is not a good spec and is already non current.

the games i play arent super demanding so i don't need anything crazy, i just need something that can play riot games smoothly id prefer if there was a white varient available, but that might be asking for too much

Hi TL;DR I am looking for a gaming laptop which can handle AAA games at smooth fps.
I currently have an Acer Nitro 5 with 8GB RAM (not sure but likely DDR4) an i5-9300H, and a GTX 1650 4GB. I have had it for three years and bought it as a laptop for productivity. I then realised that I could play video games on it so I downloaded Forza Horizon 3 and other games just for fun.
I currently get about 50fps on most games on low settings and some games crash in the menus. Online, I am even more prone to crashes and my fps drops to 25 or less.
Now, I am trying to play more intensive games and my laptop is not running them well. I am not surprised since my computer isn’t particularly powerful and has been used heavily for multiple years.
I have a £1000 budget and will sell my current laptop but can afford a new laptop without the funds from selling my current one. I will buy refurbished but only like new/very good with warranty.
I need a laptop for the portability since I game in two locations and I need to be able to run AAA games such as Forza Horizon and COD on mid/high settings 1080 or 1440p at about 100fps.
Mini PCs are ok as well but I’d have to get a good monitor within the £1000 budget. I do already have a keyboard, mouse and speakers though.
Please give some advice or recommendations.
My parents r willing to by me a laptop and i need it to be cheap but good I think something like the Lenovo LOQ is good. Please help. Performance is appreciated but they will strangle me if it says "gaming"
