I am on search for a cordless portable vacuum to supplement our main home vacuum. Main uses: clean spot spills, car interior(power and maneuverability important in this scenario), stairs, and furniture. 50/50 hard surface and carpet. Also want to include I have a dog that sheds. Characteristics I am looking for is power to remove stubborn debris in the car carpet, cordless/battery power that has a swappable replacement battery, lightweight for carpet stair cleaning, a rotating brush attachment, and small storage footprint. My budget is approximately $150.

So far on my research I have come up with 3 options:

Eufy homevac h30 infinity- the brush attachment, extension pieces, footprint seems to best fit my needs but unsure about long term availability of replacement batteries and of the power

Hart/Hoover onepwr blade max- saw this as a recommendation in another post. Drawback is the footprint although it looks to be a better overall vacuum. Also it’s much heavier than the h30

Shark CH951 Ultracyclone pet pro+ - I like the size and weight. It doesn’t have extension pieces which I am okay with. But I couldn’t find details if the battery is swappable so when the battery dies the vacuum is finished as well.

I am open to all suggestions!

what's the best cordless handheld vacuum these days? the cheaper the better if it actually works. mainly need it for tight spots in my car (between seats, cupholders, etc), so a crevice tool and decent suction would be huge. would be ideal if it charges fast and has a washable filter. what are you all using that wont die after a year?

EDIT: I ended up going with the Ryobi One+, and I'm pretty happy with it. Its surprisingly powerful for the size and the battery life is quite good too. thanks for the suggestions!

Any thoughts on which won’t die on me within 2 years / have poor suction?

Budget - $200

Areas - This is specifically for dog hair removal. 90% of the area is carpet, stairs, edges of the room, hard to reach places. Bonus - being able to clean dog hair in my car.

I am looking for a handheld vacuum recommendation that has a lot of strength for cleaning up dog hair on carpet (on stairs, along the edges, etc). I would like a corded one as they would normally imply a stronger vacuum. It's very tiring carrying my full size vacuum around to use an attachment to clean stairs, edges, etc. I have bought a couple handheld cordless vacuums in the passed and they have all been pretty mediocre, hoping I can break that cycle! My old Black+Decker Dustbuster just gave out after about 5 years of use. It actually held up surprisingly well, but one thing that always bothered me was how loud it was. it honestly seemed like it was louder than my full size vacuum. Not sure if I just got unlucky or if that model is just like that normally.

Now that it's finally died, I'm looking for a new handheld vacuum to replace it. Ideally something under $50, but I’d be willing to go up to $100 if the performance and reliability are worth it. Mainly using it for quick cleanups around the house and in the car for stuff like dust, hair, and some dirt.

Seems like a lot of the name brand handheld vacuums aren't really expected to last too long even if spending a ton, so now I'm hoping for a cheaper, more replaceable one (hopefully dont have to but I'd rather spend $40-80 every couple years than $300 every 2 years.

So far I am looking at Black and Decker ones around $20-40 and some Ryobi ones between $30-80 (I already have several Ryobi power tools and multiple batteries too.

I started the search for a good cordless battery vacuum cleaner in Germany with Shark being the top contender only to read some very bad reviews that has left me super confused! I have a relatively compact apartment with mainly hardwood floors and a few rugs and there are no pets. My budget is ideally less than 500€ and preferably around 300€ unless the product is really worth it. Any honest recommendations are highly appreciated. Thank you!

So thanks to this sub, I’ve gotten some great recommendations on vacuumes I absolutely love; an upright (Sebo Felix) and a canister (Miele C3 Brilliant). But of course, according to my wife, I got the wrong ones and what I should have gotten a small handheld.

We have 2 small kids and messes are an hourly occasion. We also have a multi level home (4 floors), so the arrangement we have now is great, with the Miele for the main floor and basement and then the Sebo for the top 2 floors, without having to lug around too much.

Where I need help is getting a small, but quality handheld for quick “fill in” cleaning when accidents happen vs having to lug the canister out, plug it in and then tear down once done.

What’s the best small handheld? Home is 3200 sq ft and 75% hardwood / 25% carpet and rugs. Budget-wise, i’d like you keep it under $500, but can be sold if something nicer is more expense.

Thanks to so many wonderful recommendations and reviews on here and elsewhere, I decided to bite the bullet and grab a Sebo E3 Premium from Geek Vacuums (with a 15% discount - grabbed some extra bags and the premium parquet tool while I was at it). It will be arriving sometime next week. I'm planning on using it for my weekly deep cleans, but I'd love to have something I can use for quick and easy pickups in between those cleans - perhaps a handheld cordless vacuum. Any recommendations?

Title. I've looked at the options in Amazon and honestly they all look like clones to me, so I'm uncertain what to believe is good. I'd prefer a decent variety in attachments for smaller, tighter spaces, as well as something capable of dealing with hair and small debris. I was looking at the NEQUARE S25 Pro as something of a base. It's my first vacuum cleaner purchase, so I'm not super-knowledgeable by any stretch of the imagination.

Edited to add: we use our hand vac mostly for sweeping up in the kitchen on a grouted tile surface, but wouldn't be opposed to using for car clean out and other detail areas (which would require a wand tool attachment)

We have gone through a number of hand vacs (the battery powered kind) but we end up hating them for one reason or the other (poor battery life, poor suction, pain to empty). Our latest one has no problem with suction but it spits anything tiny it picked up out the back. We're at the point where we're about to pay any price, even buy corded (which would suck), just to have something that won't end up in a landfill in 2 years.

I am looking for a cordless handheld vacuum that will be primarily used to vacuum up cereal, crackers, other dry food spills (I have 3 toddlers) from carpet, as well as pet hair. It will be used daily. The last two handheld vacuums we had stopped working (I do not know why - probably because they were cheap). We have 2 other vacuums that are used for overall cleaning (one is a "regular" corded vacuum and the other is one for deep cleaning - I just don't want to lug out a heavy vacuum multiple times a day).

I saw a few vacuums on Amazon that seemed to be upright/lightweight vacuums (sort of like a Dyson in looks, I guess) that can be switched to a handheld vacuum. I do not trust the sources, but I would love if I could find one like that! Hopefully that makes sense.

Budget is $150, unfortunately!
